We are delighted to announce that Ben Stanford has been named winner of the Adrian Evans Apprentice Award 2025.

At just 22, Ben joined Sandwell Council Income Management team as an apprentice last year and has already made a remarkable impact. Nominated by Jeanette Wade, Operations Manager, he has quickly grown into a confident, caring, and hardworking member of the team.

Ben truly reflects the values at the heart of the Adrian Evans Award, and we couldn’t be prouder of his achievement. A huge congratulations to Ben – and well done also to our fantastic runners-up!
