The Black Tie Ball 2022

Earlier this month, around 300 of you came along to Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham for a real night to remember that raised over £27,000.

With a beautiful three-course meal, and the brilliant Copicats providing the music for us all to dance to, it was once again one of the best nights of the year.

Thank you to everyone who put in work behind the scenes, Joel’s Angels, the venue staff, photographers, and videographer Ben, you all helped to make the night as special as it was.

But the year is not finished yet!

The Zip Wire

In May, 24 fundraisers braved their fears and went on the fastest Zipline in Europe at Penrhyn Quarry, Snowdonia. With speeds of up to 100mph and a 1.5km zip line we don’t know what’s more impressive, the fact they were willing to get harnessed up and throw themselves down the quarry, or that they raised over £12,000.

The Legends Night with Route 39

Back in March, we had another great night with legends from across the West Midlands, including Steve Bull!

A huge thank you to Route 39 for their continued work with us in putting on these great fundraising events.

They’ve not only helped us put on another triumph of a Legends Night, but they’ve also helped put on the ever-successful Quiz For Joel nights, and a night with ex-England International Paul Merson and comedian Billy Flywheel alongside Sporting Minds UK.
